2018.12.26 Public Welfare Restart Visits Luotou Yude Primary School

On December 26, 2018, Mr. Wang Renfei, the marketing director of Qingdao Copton Technology Co., Ltd., and Mr. Yuan Zhiqiang, the marketing manager, among others, were invited to attend the inauguration ceremony of the water purification system at Luotou Yuede Primary School in Pingdu Xidi Town, Qingdao City, Shandong Province. Also present at this ceremony were Mr. Ren Sishao, the director of the Student Financial Assistance Management Office of the Education and Sports Bureau of Pingdu City, Mr. Li Zengqin, the principal of Luotou School District of Shiqiao Primary School in Xidi Town, Pingdu City, Mr. Shao Jun, the head of the Young Pioneers' League of the Luotou School District of Shiqiao Primary School in Xidi Town, Pingdu City, Mr. Du Jichun, the director of the Safety Office of the Luotou School District of Shiqiao Primary School in Xidi Town, Pingdu City, and Mr. Ma Hongde, the director of Qingdao Yuyou Charity Service Center. 

Luo Tou Yude Primary School in Chongxi Town, Pingdu City, is located at the junction of Pingdu, Laixi and Laizhou. The surrounding villages are surrounded by numerous mines. The drinking water and domestic water in this area are all sourced from underground. The minerals in the water are severely excessive. Long-term consumption of such groundwater by the teachers and students poses great harm to their health. After learning about this situation, Yuyou Charity and Copton jointly discussed and prepared a water purification system for the school to ensure the health of these students. Students are the future and hope of our country, and they are in the foundation-building stage, thus they need more social assistance and attention. 

Since its establishment, Copton has been quietly doing some things within its capabilities. During the Wenchuan earthquake and the Spring Bud Girls' project, you could see Copton's presence. As an enterprise, in addition to fulfilling its responsibilities, it also actively undertakes some social responsibilities. Each of us is a member of society, and so is an enterprise. Society is a whole composed of many individuals like us. The existence of each of us is closely related to society and cannot be separated. The stable development and progress of society also provide us with necessary conditions and a favorable environment. 

At the donation ceremony, Mr. Ren Si Xiao, the director of the Student Financial Assistance Management Office of Pingdu Education and Sports Bureau, delivered a speech. He expressed gratitude to Copton for solving the major problem of drinking water for all the teachers and students of the school. The donated funds by Copton were directly allocated and used effectively and precisely. 

Subsequently, Principal Li led a group to visit the old site of the first Party branch in Pingdu City. Luotou Yude Primary School originated from this place. It has a history of over 80 years since 1935. In its early days, it served as both an educational base and a liaison station for the Party's work, playing a role as a relay point and a connecting link for revolutionary activities.

Through concrete actions, it actively practices corporate social responsibility, promotes the development of social charity and public welfare, and serves and gives back to society.
